Love these old tragic ballads of love and murder.

My piano was built in 1911 and I got it in 2011 at 100 years old. One evening I walked by and heard a loud "ping" and I knew exactly what it was. The next day I found the string that had slipped and called the man who delivered and tuned the piano when I first got it. He was in the area, and was able to stop out and re-tune the string and the rest of the piano, then he looked at me and said "I would be happy to come out and re-tune your piano when it goes out, but it's an old piano and it's going to need a lot of attention. You have a good ear, get the tools and learn to tune it yourself." so I did. But I have Tinnitus and I don't quite trust my ears, so I got a SEIKO chromatic tuner, I tried a Snark but it wasn't picking up the sound. The SEIKO only works on the middle 5 octaves so I tune the rest by ear once I have those 5 done.

FYI, I always tune my strings by lowering the tone and then bringing it up. I think the string is less likely to slip or settle that way. If you tune it by relaxing the tension and lowering the tone, the string might slip farther and go out of tune after you are done. I believe all string instruments are tuned by bringing the tone up. Also when tuning the keys with 3 strings, I do the middle one first, using the mutes to quiet the outer strings, then tune the other strings to the middle one, one at a time. The strings are in tune when the tone is smooth, if you hear a "wow, wow, wow" when you are trying to match tones, the strings are not in tune.

Your links are as awful as your drawings, and now you are posting sites that are probably riddled with viruses? Hilarious.

If that is what you consider good, I don't want to hear any more, let me try what you consider bad.

They all look like they are stoned on drugs and alcohol, which reminds me of the story about the song "Inna Gadda da Vida" when the group claimed that they were so stoned that they couldn't say "In the Garden of Eden" correctly. The whole story seemed to be bogus, because the rest of the song lyrics were sung clearly. My thought is that if they sere slurring the words of the title, they should have also slurred the words of the rest of the song.

We can totally agree on that!
Trumped up little turds who think they are goddesses mooching around pouting; to sounds barely qualifying as music.
