Hi! Thank you! I had two critical health scares that ended up vanishing on the follow-up tests. :) Since then, I've just been having fun and being productive -- glad to be alive. Still here on planet Earth.
Yes, I remember you mentioning having some health issues a long while ago and then months of silence - - which is why I was concerned.

I'm just glad to hear that it was a false alarm.

According to Google's AI Overview (emphasis mine)...
AI Overview:

The phrase "I shall send them a strong delusion" comes from 2 Thessalonians 2:11 (KJV). In context, the Apostle Paul is writing about the end times and the "man of lawlessness" (or Antichrist) who will deceive those who have rejected the truth.

Because these individuals willfully "refused to love the truth and so be saved" (2 Thessalonians 2:10, ESV), God ultimately gives them over to what they want. He removes His restraining grace, allowing them to fully believe the lies and false teachings they have chosen to embrace.
This is fascinating, YES! Wouldn't you think Christians would be more vigilant because of these prophecies?
I think it's because they are expecting the Antichrist to be more supernatural in nature and are thus clueless to the possibility that it might be a complete idiot like Trump, who, like some kind of real-life version of Chauncey Gardiner (of "Being There" fame) will stumblebum us into the prophesied Armageddon.
Lacewing wrote: Mon Jun 01, 2026 1:28 am I get the impression that the Bible was actually written FOR Christians ABOUT Christians/Christianity, and how there are those among them who will uniquely faulter within their own belief system. So, the prophecy is self-fulfilling for those among them that 'don't get it' (true spiritual connection/nature) at a deeper level.
Yes.

And another "self-fulfilling" prophecy in the Bible is the one where the Israelites...

(the ones who originally penned the prophecy)

...predicted a time when pretty much the entire world will be allied against Israel...
AI Overview:
The Bible foretells a final, cataclysmic gathering of the world's nations to confront Israel—centered on Jerusalem—in several key end-times prophecies.
And the point is that based on what the writers of that particular prophecy (the Jews) have done (and continue to do) to the Palestinians and others in that region,...

...then of course that particular prophecy will be "self-fulfilling."

It's like...
"...I prophesy that if I steal your house and land and murder your children in the process,...

...then you're more than likely going to retaliate in kind..."
Nothing supernatural about that, right?

 Too funny!

Yes, 'supernatural beings' would be expected to be BEYOND human intelligence... but no, these are creations of men, so they reflect the mentality of their creators.

Right! I don't think I've ever seen a more conniving, sneaky, murderous, pretentiously-religious, aggressive madman than Netanyahu. And he plays Trump like a puppet. From behind the curtains of religion, emerge some of the most vile and delusional human beings. There's something very wrong with that!
