Well. I have to confess that I witness a few years of conversation in this forum and I just rarely saw any agreement between debaters. So I was wondering how religion can succeed while we cannot.

Religion succeeds because of it's reward.

Most, but not all humans are reward whores. So of course the reward that religion offers would be more seductive and juicy. The believers of religion would all agree on mass that the reward is better than trying to muddle through the mind maze that is every non-believer.

Religion is the immediate gratification, it cuts out the cheese chasing through the maze.
