You are talking bollocks. The Murdoch media are the thugs. Social media is people expressing their opinion as you are here.
The only difference is that you are wrong on this issue as you are talking from ignorance.
Say what you really mean, you cranky old shit.
I just think your comments are way off beam.

Social Media reflects people. It's not 'mob rule' as they have no power. Take it or leave it.
It's not groups think any more than anywhere else. It's a continual challenge to establishment views and thats not a bad thing.

Seriously is Social Media more or less obnoxious than THIS:

He could be the start of a trend. A trend that the US has just bucked, by rejecting Bernie. Now the US has a choice between Hilter and Hitlery.
Other countries have now put up candidates that are more let wing than have been seen in 30 years.
Liberal and fair is good. PC is not.

I'm not comparing. I'm just saying it's all noise. And why do it, if they are powerless anyways? You're the one who said it's the only way a government will change, and then you say it has no power?

You made the absurd claim that it was 'mob rule' and I was putting your straight. We have a vote. It's not much but it can change the world.

But you said they don't have power, so how are they then going to change the world, exactly? Make up your f****** mind! And it is a mob. It's group think. LCD.

And honestly, as long as I don't have to read their shit, I don't give a damn.

When you say monkey are referring to the actual monkey or is it some kind of slang?
It's times like this... thoughts of you and your monkey bring me great comfort.

Most of FB is frivolous bullshit. You must know that. If politicians felt threatened by it they would find a way to get rid of it, or clip its wings. Look at what happened to Julian Assange. Most people are on FB to show 'selfies' and how 'exciting and dynamic' their lives are compared to everyone else's. Twitter is even worse. People 'twit' every movement they make during the day (probably including their bowel movements). If people want change, then they need to get off their lazy arses and protest like they used to.

One thing I've noticed about you, Hobbes, you often express compassion for mankind but, on a personal level, you seem to hate almost everyone.

The irony here is that having compassion for mankind makes it very difficult to like humans in general.

Actually, you and your opinionated fuckbook friends would be the rabble, you ever so cranky shit. Get better painkillers, if your present ones aren't working, and stop taking it out on people.
