Consider the amount of time that humans are exposed to fiction and how believable it all has to seem to be enjoyed.
Every culture, nation, religion since the dawn of time has mobilised fiction from myths and legends to parables and foundation stories to give the people a sense of themselves and where they belong in society. Fiction is the most important means of stucturation.

No amount of members are going to make any difference if the parliamentary party is completely dysfunctional, which it is. Corbyn has reduced the party to a joke.
