Lacewing didn't misquote Hobbes', he quoted Hobbes' quote accurately after Hobbes' had corrected what you had posted. Lacewing is being quite honest in his posts.

Thanks for pointing that out, doc. Bob seems to misunderstand and miss a lot of things (including the truth) -- which I'm guessing is essential for clinging to his false identity.

(I'm female, by the way. I know my words don't match my sweet, kind appearance. However, I really am a gentle soul who just knows how to talk like a sailor when it's useful... and it's more genuine and fun than being Miss Nice-Nice with people who are being rude and absurd.)

Thankyou, but I was using the he and his as a default pronoun when I don't know any better. I'll try to remember but don't hold me to it 100%, I forget sometimes.

Sorry if I didn't word it well, Bob. I simply meant that Hobbes' was providing another version of something you said -- and, as far as I could tell, he was making it more truthful. So, in that way, he was helping you -- since you seem unable to be more accurate yourself.
