No. But it seems that Jews and Gnostic Christians have a long and healthy relationship as we think alike.
Unless you are into religious thinking, start this up at about the 24 min mark.

On the other hand one should attack the opponent's argument, not their beliefs. For example, it would be inappropriate to say that person B is wrong because they are a fundamentalist Christian. It would be appropriate to show how their statements contradict each other...etc.
It would be appropriate to point out the weaknesses of dualism . However, it would be inappropriate to accuse someone of being a dualist ( as if being a duelist was somehow a sign of intellectual weakness).

I promise I'm not trying to be contentious here, but I never jumped into the previous conversation about you being a Gnostic Christian with both feet. As such, I'm still unclear on why you claim the "Christian" part (which, traditionally, hinges on Jesus as a savior of some sort) and don't just leave it as "Gnostic." In the modern era, I can't say I've met someone who claimed to be a "Gnostic Christian" but plenty who simply claim to be "Gnostic." Like I said, I don't intend this to debate whether you're using the terms right or anything (that might come later), just interested in getting a clearer picture of this.

Now this will be a great debate! perhaps for another thread.
I believe that Jesus and original Christianity was gnostic. Then the more authoritarian sects took over because king's ( Constantine etc) wanted a religion based on submissiveness and obedience.
I believe that Christ's original message was about finding God within. ( Luke 17;21) ,
http://biblehub.com/john/10-34.htm etc.
The location and time where Jesus was, knew about Buddhism, Greek philosophy, Hinduism.... Yes, Jesus was primarily Jewish. He was after all a rabbi. However, being someone interested in religion and philosophy he would learn from the cultures around him. He co-opted other beliefs and blended them into the Jewish religion.
Note that i am not saying that during his lost years he was in India. That may or may not be true. i don't care. my point is that he never had to leave home to be educated as to foreign beliefs.

Modern day Christianity is not what Jesus preached.

His adjective is nonsense. Gnostic is not Christian, nor can it be. He disagrees with me about that though.
And anyway, in Gnostic thought, Satan is supposed to be "the good guy" who challenges the Demiurge (i.e. the "evil" or incompetent creator-god they believe exists) ...so you would think they'd be campaigning that we should all follow "Satanic" morality.

In fact, Gnostic Christian is an oxymoron.

Now, now, stop with the pile-on, lol. raw_thought's right that a separate thread could make for some good disscutionating. Here, though, I'm really just interested in getting GIA's answer on the point.

You just won my reply to such an inquiry.
Some history first and then how a Gnostic Christian interprets one of the Jesus' in scriptures.
Not the scapegoat Jesus as those who want to ride that one are quite immoral.
The only salvation we look to Jesus for is to be saved from literal reading of myths, even our own.

The thinking shown below is the Gnostic Christian’s goal as taught by Jesus but know that any belief can be internalized to activate your higher mind.

This method and mind set is how you become I am and brethren to Jesus, in the esoteric sense.

When you can name your God, I am, and mean yourself, you will begin to know the only God you will ever find. Becoming a God is to become more fully human and a brethren to Jesus.

Well put.
I also think that what is now called Gnostic Christianity was the root of the church Constantine bought.
Catholic means Universal and Gnostic Christianity is still Universal and can absorb all belief systems while Christianity is divisive and not Universal at all. It cannot absorb or embrace the believers of other faiths. It can only convert.
Only Gnostic Christianity has the mental flexibility to embrace all moral beliefs.

You tell me.
Count the bodies God is said to have killed and then count Satan's.
Who is showing better morals?
Most hate the serpent thanks to Eden yet forget that to the Jews who wrote the myth that Christianity later plagiarized, the serpent was venerated. Moses' staff was serpent headed and the temple was in the charge of the Levites who were the serpent tribe of Israel.
To discredit the Jews, Christianity discredited the serpent and in doing so changed the elevation of man that the Jews had written into their myths, to the fall of man that stupid Christians believe in the literal sense.
Women have been second class citizens from that day on thanks to Christianity and their lies.

So this is where the "Christian" comes from? Through Gnostic teachings you're elevated (elevate yourself?) to the point of kinship with Jesus. But this Jesus is not the Jesus as is traditionally understood by Christians (the latter being false)?
