Any clothing you put on naked physics is really metaphysics.
Here is what I notice: it is possible to conceive of a position or perspective such as that of “physics” that imagines itself as free of metaphysics. But only a calculating machine (of a mind) could do that. No living man could ever conceive of himself, or the mind, or life, or values and meaning of any sort
ever, without directly engaging in metaphysics.
I would establish this truth or fact as a first principle that no one could deny. That
is how it is.
Thus: metaphysics is inevitable.

I wonder if AJ is now sitting in his room trying to radiate Transcendental Love, concentrating really hard on it.
First, and if I take the “idea of God” seriously, there would have to be many many statements about what god is, what “world” is, what life and especially awareness are. If one had come to those answers, then one could possibly begin to talk about what god’s love is, and then perhaps proceed to universal love.
Atla, you are a man who has no core or decided sense of what life and existence are, nor much sense (that you express anyway) of your purpose.
Who in the heck knows what you think, what moves you, or even why you continually return (to this and other threads where such things are discussed) to make statements indicating your immobility, your lack of understanding.
I do “recognize” you though: an outcome of a
looooooonnnngggg intelectual causal chain that in the end actually eats up your intellect.
I imagine you sitting in front of a TeeVee screen with saliva pooling on your chest.
At the very least tell me your favorite mass-produced snack. Or what’s on TeeVee?! Something, please!

I don't have a TV. I also don't think that your habit of self-deception is a sign of strength and maturity.
Well if you want to know, what moves me is the search for truth, but I'm kinda just here for some philosophical entertainment.
You're into self-deception and I'm into truth, we're opposites.
I know enough to know that whatever you think life and existence are, you are mistaken.

"Nothing could be worse, in my view, than abandoning the pursuit of the great “transcendental” concepts"
Gustave Vonhamsonshmidt wrote that Joshua Harris does not ask "at what expense" do we do metaphysics.
If in 2,500 years we are still "in pursuit," perhaps we are aksing the wrong questions?

Talk about “truth”. Present the case that clearly shown why, exactly, you believe I self-deceive.
You should be able to pull it off. What holds you back?

I had a strange interaction with Gustave Vonhamsonshmidt last year in Naples. When leaving a banquet sort of event the “hat fag” gave me the wrong hat. It was identical to mine, just a bit worn. Gustave V. tracked me down at my hotel and we talked a bit and played a game of chess. No discussions on philosophical themes.

Eliminate “kinda” from your vocabulary,

The Napels period was a time of convalescence for Vonhamsonshmidt. A break from the intellectual drudgery academia demanded of him at the university in Vienna.
He opened with the Sicilian defense, yes? He usually does.

No! And it threw me for a loop. He opened with 1.b4. He played white so it was the left horse’s pawn to b4. Known as the Orangutan Opening, I thought he might be mocking me — or himself. I have no Polish relatives. The game did not conclude because my date arrived. But I still have the unfinished game marked down. We were 8 or nine moves in.

We all know what it is to be loved. All. All of those who know. All of those who have experienced it. Those that haven't, die. That includes an Asian sheepshead wrasse (fish), iguanas, preying mantises. And the love that is experienced has commonalities. Just take all of that to the next level up. Even IC would be fixed by it.

What holds me back is the tediousness of having to state the (what should be) obvious. Waste of time. I was wondering and debating these metaphysical-religious-spiritual issues when I was a child and an adolescent. Pretty sure I already considered everything you have to say, and could say in the foreseeable future, decades ago.
So unless you pull a convincing demonstration for your metaphysical-religious-spiritual realm, something all the millions, billions before you failed to do, I'm back to making fun of you.
