Unless I'm mistaken, Noam Chomsky has apparently had dialog with Putin since the war started. According to Chomsky, Putin is sane. Putin is fighting a war and he's a sane man. If that's the case, then what is his excuse for fighting a war?

I'm just asking for the fact of the matter. If NATO has publicly admitted responsibility for a war, it should be news.
I'm not seeing it on the BBC site, or The Hill, or Politico, or the Independent. The big news about NATO today seems to be a matter of whether Turkey and Hungary are ready to ratify Sweden's bid. The other thing seems like a bigger deal than that.
So as we know, IC wouldn't make it up.... he literally couldn't make it up... He said that himself

He'd be so much better standing up for oppressed people on their behalf, wouldn't he? I mean people of color got tired of that when they realized that others speaking up for them were just looking for social credits and nothing else. At least according to dissidents on the right. It's not genuine compassion for people of color. IC on the other hand is a Saint because he believe in Jesus. Santa Clause is going to bring him a second wife soon.

I'm not saying making a mental diagnosis but a moral one. Putin's cunning, alright. But he's morally evil. But then, so are the people who've provoked this horrible war, when they knew that was what they were going to do, and then did it anyway. And it's Ukrainian and Russian blood that's being spilt on account of two groups of wicked people.

He gave you the link already tbh. It is a guy from NATO, telling the European parliament that Putin demanded not only apromise not to expand NATO into Ukrain, but also to remove all NATO equipoment from the Baltics and Poland etc. It's a highly slanted think piece.
But the good news is that IC didn't make it up, some guy called Jeffrey fed him some Russian propaganda and IC ate it up.

When Chomsky refers to sane, he doesn't use it in the context of morality. He uses it in the context of being able to make moral distinctions but not necessarily doing so. It's the same way courts judge people. A person can be given clemency or whatever if they murdered someone because of insanity. However, if someone does something evil while sane, then they are fully aware of what they did.

For starters, NATO is not ONE PERSON. ONE PERSON, cannot speak on behalf of other members of his or her organization, if that's what you're referring to.
