Dalek, I relate. I prefer my own company too, but it would be weird if most here weren't loners, even if the "social skills" on display didn't make it obvious. Social types are usually too focused on the human world to bother much with the rest of nature, the cosmos and the future, other than in terms of usefulness to humans.

Despite the above - which is just the innocent dickheadness of predators (to hopefully gentrify over time) - I find humans to be beautiful beings - when viewed at a safe distance. Like you (and probably most here), I'm an introvert who tires in company and energises alone.

BTW, are you a tall ectomorph as I predicated?

Short, in between meso and ectomorph ie. not overly muscled, but sleek, without being skinny.

I can't take all the credit, DP. My parents taught me how to make uncalled for assumptions about people based on zero evidence. Without their steady guidance I may have ended up lost in rationality.

It's highly overrated on this forum anyways. No biggy.

I'd rather social media, that Murdoch Media.
I didn't think about it like that. True. Politicians must hate Facebook, and that can't be a bad thing.
Indeed. There is a movement called 'we are his media' started by two Liverpool women who are giving an alternative view of Jeremy Corbyn against the media assassination he is suffering.

Facebook is like mob rule. It's the lowest common denominator of thinking. I can do without group think.
You are talking bollocks. The Murdoch media are the thugs. Social media is people expressing their opinion as you are here.
The only difference is that you are wrong on this issue as you are talking from ignorance.

You are both right. FB can be devastating, especially to the young and vulnerable, and Murdoch is an evil old shit.

This is the sort of thing people are reading on Social Media. Stuff offered by ordinary people.

Su Burton Thomas writes:
I have just watched a video of Jeremy Corbyn's rally in Liverpool which was largely ignored (as are most of his events) by the mainstream media. I can say in all honesty he is the first public figure to truly inspire me since JFK when I was 15. I am now 70. Not only do I totally agree with all his policies but I like what I see of the man; an honest, humble, unselfish, compassionate and warm hearted human being who genuninely cares for justice, peace, kindness and a fairer society for ALL not just for those who can afford it. I am a pensioner living on a basic pension and I am blessed to be living in Almshouses run by a charitable trust. I could follow Thatchers philosophy and say, 'I'm alright Jack!' but I want to see my grandchildren and great grandchildren living in a society where ALL people have equal rights, where there are no homeless, where mums dont have to use Foodbanks to feed their kids, where worthwhile apprenticeships are on offer, where young people dont come out of university with loads of debt. I will pray for, support and vote for Jeremy Corbyn and I dont care what the haters try to tell me.
I have NEVER seen such a crowd and such a response for any other politician.
There is much that the media is suppressing, and more that they are simply wilfully ignoring. Everywhere Jeremy Corbyn goes, day after day, he packs the halls and streets. Watch the news and you would never know. The Mainstream media are keeping us all in their bubble- then paradoxically accusing Social Media of creating bubbles.

Come on you "free MPs" that are supposed to be representing the people of your constituencies, no matter what party you are, this is shameful. Are we worth nothing to you?How can you stand by and let this happen? This and YOU will be recorded into history and taught to future generations how YOU let this happen. It will be passed down by mouth too so it won't go away.

Watch BBC, ITV, Channel Four and Jeremy Corbyn is "unelectable". I call bullshit.

And it's getting worse. The 'news' now is just sanitised, censored garbage. It probably reports about 1 per cent of 1 per cent of what's going on. How long before the internet is suppressed 'for our own good'? Look at what happened to Julian Assange and Chelsea Manning.
Corbyn is the British equivalent of Bernie Sanders. Unfortunately they are out of place in the present 'neoliberal' warmongering climate. Also, decent investigative journalists are a dying breed. All we are getting are drips with 'media studies' non-degrees.

We should be allowed to end our life peacefully, whenever we want to. It's a human right.
I agree. We should also be, at the very least, aware of what we do in the creation of other conciousnesses. It's a serious business that mustn't be taken lightly. That's really all that antinatalism asks; to take creation seriously for what it is, and ponder the consequences before we take that biggest of steps.
The term "Inalienable Rights" is much over used and totally wrong. Humans don't have any rights, except what others are wiling to grant them. We are plopped into this life with nothing, and no-one gets out of it alive, so whatever you can get while you are alive is what you can keep hold of. No-one is owed anything, we all get only what we can take and hold, including whatever some organization will grant us.

Yes they are out of step but their views are growing . Let's hope they don't die before their human decency catches on.
This is the last chance for liberal social justice before we descend back into fascism, nationalism and racism.
That's why I'm giving Social Media my time - before it is too late.
