So it's genetic then. There's no scizophrenia or bi-polar anywhere in my family. Plenty of annoying eccentric loons though.
None in mine either. Her mother due to complications was autistic, her father was of oriental origins, whom this problem was in. My niece is half Chinese, Chinese citizen to be exact. Now, imagine that German, Irish and Chinese.
I cannot say Irish for sure, my father always wanted to be Irish even though our lineage is from the clerics of the British Aristocracy. My mother, on the other hand, from wealthy German stock, industrialists. Good old America melted that pot.
There are a lot of Clarks in America, like many other families. Clerics have always been in the art of grammar. We copy books, preserve books, comment on authors, keeping the Word, alive.

Funny the way everyone wants to be Irish. No one ever wants to be English (or German)

You would know why if you ever seen the movie Harvey. It is a classic.
If you have ever seen the movie Hearts and Minds, you will see Eddy in it. We disagreed on politics, but he ended up after his desertion with me for a while. He was my father's sisters son. My father's sister and her son was in it. He died in his sleep, embolism.

I tried to teach him before he went, He did not believe me. He had to find out for himself. He did, however, go through heroic acts to make truth known once he did learn. Still, I believed it was the wrong approach, it would not last. Once he was a news item, today nobody remembers.
To be a good freedom fighter, you have to plant seeds that will grow in any weather. The foundation of ecology, is the farmer. You shall turn your weapons of war into farm utensils. You do not do these things because you are told to, you do them because you have reached the age of understanding.

I can understand why no one ever wants to be German, but English? The world hates us, but can't get enough of our language and culture.
People often say that I look a bit Irish, with my complexion, but it turns out that I only have a tiny percentage of Celtic ancestry, which I suspect is probably more likely to be Welsh, anyway.

Yes. England is the most fascinating country on earth I must say.

Sounds like someone coming out of the closet.
I do not understand the false flattery, but it seems to be built into some people. Beauty is in the hands of the butt holder. Which means that beauty is not had in one geographical location, but is a global phenomena you may experience yourself.

And it's more interesting than ever due to immigration and cultural diversity. Joseph Conrad, Kasuo Ishiguro, Salmaan Rushdie, Doris Lessing and others have enriched England's cultural heritage. Keep those immigrants coming!

That is actually called delusions of grandeur.
It is actually subjective identification with perception, it was something of interest to me in my childhood. I could see it all around me in people. Confusing the perceptible with the intelligible.

It's not 'false flattery'. It's a fact. You can't 'flatter' a country you pathetic twat. Doesn't mean I'm particularly fond of the English.

The clue is in the word 'diverse'. Perhaps a better one would be 'diluted'.

Wouldn't you expect to be a 'main character' in your own home, or do you open your home to the general public?
