Interesting. What you think will persuade Gary is what persuades you. There could be more substance to Gary than the shallowness you hope to awaken.
The depraived depths of moronhood to which you sink, is breathtaking

Maybe they staged this with actors and such, for propaganda. Who can say for sure?

Less than three hours after beginning deliberation, the jury in the second defamation case brought by columnist E. Jean Carroll against former President Donald Trump issues a verdict ordering him to pay her $83.3 million in damages for his defamatory statements regarding his sexual assault of Carroll in 1996. During closing arguments Carroll’s lawyers ask the jury to award her at least $24 million in damages for repeatedly defaming her account of his sexual assault of her in a department store changing room. Trump lawyer Alina Habba counters that her client should not be held liable for threats made against Carroll by his supporters. Here are the latest details in the legal battles involving the former president who hopes to be reelected to the White House in 2024.

But yeah its all ake news?? :D :D

All together it’s 88.3M + attorney fees. Will his campaign donors be expected to cover it, again?

I'll think they are going to wait for the US High Court ruling in Colorado's decision to push Trump off the Ballot for aiding insurection.
I undertand that their job is not to challenge the facts of the case, but to estblish if it applies to the 14th Amendment.
I understand arguments are going to be heard 9th Feb.

All proceeding according to plan. The first time around the Left vowed to impeach Trump before he was even elected. This is more of the same old same old now, which has become expected SOP, and sadly to say it's not only accepted, but encouraged. The knives are just sharper now because the Left realizes ... "There's nothing to stop us!"

The strategy is to keep Trump out of office, and to discourage any others who won't play ball by destroying Trump. This is just another tactic.

She's only in it for the money.
No decent responsible, professional lawyer would have told Trump to persue this slam-dunk.

THe more you post the more stupid you appear.

She's the one who just said "no objection" a bunch of times when the prosecution admitted evidence into the record because that's what she'd heard real lawyers say, but without understanding that she was cutting off her own client's avenues of appeal.

If she had been defending him in one of his many criminal cases everyone would accuse her of setting up an appeal on grounds of innefective counsel, but there is no such grounds in civil cases, a fact she may or may not be aware of.

I don't see what the problem is. Everything ended well i thought. Trump got to maintain the alpha male image he tries to portray by surrounding himself with sexy women (who are eligible to be grabbed by the p*ssy), and he'll also get more votes from sympathetic voters who identify with his martydom (they too think 'the man' is out to get em becuz fighting imaginary monsters can be exciting when u aren't a real victim of the state's betrayal and have no reason to be anti-government). Also, Alina got a decent paycheck despite the loss and got to dress up and play lawyer, something she's always wanted to do since watching those prestigious lawyer movies when she was a teenager.

Oh and useless old haute bourgeois carol got enough money to keep her whole family from having to work for at least three generations.

Grandkids: Grandma Carol, what's the best thing that ever happened to us?

Carol: when trump called me a bitch.
