That's a bit different from standing up in someone's living foom in front of a TV screen. That's just fucking insane. As a young child we were supposed to stand up for god save the queen before the film started when you went to the pictures (cinema). At the age of four I thought that was really silly and bizarre. Children are so much more intelligent than idiot adults.

Well, as an adult I see it as much more reasonable than a child of four would. As an adult, we can consider it as a mark of respect, and when getting children to do such actions, that they understand eventually Y.
