Your error is thus.
I have been a youngster. You haven't been an adult.
Logik wrote: Thu Mar 07, 2019 10:31 amTo think that you have knowledge BECAUSE you are young. That's your arrogance.
Could this be YOUR ASSUMPTIONS at WORK, AGAIN.
Logik wrote: Thu Mar 07, 2019 10:31 amTill you grow up, I'll just feed you crayons.
Please do.

If only you KNEW what you have already led yourself into, and continue to lead yourself into.

A calculated risk I am willing to take.

Whatever it is, it can't be worse than eating crayons.

Age wrote: Thu Mar 07, 2019 10:18 am What part exactly are you suggesting is error?
Your inability to apply statistical inference in practice.
LOL

Your inability to recognize errors.[/quote]

What can be SEEN here in this thread and in this forum is WHERE I have recognized YOUR errors. This is EASY to SEE because UNLIKE YOU I provide examples, explanations, evidence, and/or proof of what I say are YOUR errors. What can also be SEEN is YOU are YET to provide the SAME.

THEE EVIDENCE is HERE for ALL to SEE.

The PROOF that you also just about ALWAYS divert away from what is in question and direct the discussion to just about always be about YOU, and HOW YOU KNOW certain things, which "others" supposedly do NOT, I recognize as a being the HUGE ERROR of a Truly self-centered, egotistical, and psychological human being.
Logik wrote: Thu Mar 07, 2019 10:27 amIf you don't understand what that means, you are going to have to do your own homework. Start here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_I_and_type_II_errors
But I do KNOW what that means. You have just once again FAILED to SEE and RECOGNIZE this FACT, and ASSUMED otherwise. This is BECAUSE you only LOOK AT you and your BELIEF that you are far superior than ALL "others"

Are you at all AWARE that you wrote both of these quotes?

'You' are replying to 'your-own-self' here.

Would you AGAIN like to respond to and answer your OWN question?

The outcome of producing WRONG ASSUMPTIONS has already been SHOWN.

You can take as many RISKS as you like. But if it is NOT necessary to take any risk whatsoever, then WHY do it?

And you are basing this ASSUMPTION on WHAT exactly?

If you are unable to use literal language and have to refer to metaphors, then 'WHY are 'you' on a philosophy forum'?

LOOK BACK.

It might be MY post but it is NOT my quote. AS I HAVE ALREADY EXPLAINED TO YOU.

So, do you still BELIEVE that you were NOT responding to your own words?

It REALLY would help you if you READ and SEE the actual words that I write. Just like I have suggested to your many times ALREADY. The EASIEST way to do SEE the Truth of things is to LOOK from the Truly OPEN Mind instead of from those distorted BELIEFS and ASSUMPTIONS that are made up in that head. AS I HAVE ALREADY EXPLAINED TO YOU, many times ALREADY.

Are you sure your brain is in charge of your body? Cut down on the crayons maybe?

I NEVER repeated what you said. WHY would you even begin to ASSUME such a CLOSED VIEW of a situation?

Are you at all ABLE to consider anything other than the first THOUGHT that JUMPS UP/ARISES?

Maybe if you did, then you would NOT be so WRONG quite so OFTEN.

LOL

SERIOUSLY, can you NOT consider that any thing else might have taken place?

YOUR BELIEFS really do get in the way of you being at all ABLE to SEE the Truth of things.

The very reason WHY you can NOT recognize the actual and real Truth of things is becoming more and more OBVIOUSLY CLEARER.

Keep going. YOUR words provide MORE EVIDENCE for what I want to say than I could write.

The alternative hypothesis is ALWAYS "you are eating too many crayons".

Are you REALLY that CLOSED or NARROWED a person that you can NOT think of ANY thing else?

By the way do you find this continual reference to "crayons" amusing at all? Or, is there some other reason you have mentioned this word quite a number of times now?

Maybe because we are little gods organizing what we can comprehend (or pretend to) into consistent bits that we can feel in control of? The "consistency" we perceive probably relies on ourselves as the "ordering agent". If something doesn't fit... if something seems magical (beyond our usual scope) on a grand scale... many of us will dismiss it, while others will claim to be the messengers/knowers of it... both approaches are ways of having/claiming order... and reducing it to our level of contrived understanding and definitions. Why does there NEED to be order on a grand scale according to us?
There does not have to be, according to us. There just IS perfect order on ALL scales.
Why do you feel the need to "correct" people and tell people HOW IT IS? Your view is not superior to anyone else here.

Not only that, but you took my statement out of the intended context and missed the point.
