I was trying to make a point about what a person would do in the name of an imaginary god -- and there seem to be a lot of them. It's fascinating, don't you think? I wasn't saying all theists would do this. If we consider the way some people make sweeping generalizations of how all atheists are, do you think that is intellectually dishonest?

The cause of murder is attachment to ego and the delusion that there is a higher standard than the sanctity of life. This higher standard may be belief in a religion in which the inspiration is a man glorified for killing. This higher standard could be anything else ... including atheism.

Attachment to what nullifies the sanctity of life is the cause.

That's fascinating because it's inclusive of more humanity, and thus more appropriate to philosophy than simple self-justification of one's own beliefs.

Questions:

- Is there audio?
