Johngal, why the hell would the US go to war just because some other country supposedly wants it to? You have no evidence to make that assertion. The idea is preposterous. The US does what it wants to do, and the President can do pretty much as he pleases.

I do not accept that there is an 'international jewish conspiracy', but the fact remains that the world's greatest financiers are jews and share an affiliation (maybe no more than emotional) with Israel. These american jews are powerful and their sympathies have continued to lead the US to look towards the middle east.
There are many other regions in the world that could attract the attention of US foreign policy, but Israel seems to inhabit a unique position - why?
