I hope Trump pays for his hubris, depravity, and moral degeneracy. It's heartbreaking to watch my country go down the tubes. I don't understand why anyone would want to destroy their own country, thinking it's going to make it "great".
Your attention is misplaced, led astray by propaganda, with a topic that is a calculated distraction.
The following probably was not reported by your information sources.
It’s right from the horse’s mouth, not from interpretation by your propaganda sources.

- In a recent interview Megan Romer, the co-chair of the DSA (Democrat Socialists of America) and thus authorized to present the platform, fleshed out some of their policies.
- The country would pay dearly for these policies, that Trump does not endorse. These policies would send what the country is, right down the tubes, although the earth under the real estate would likely survive.

Some of the shaky platform ...

- Abolish the senate
- Replace the executive and judicial branches of the government.
- Abolish ICE. (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
- Abolish borders.
- Amnesty to anyone in the US illegally.
- Defund the Pentagon.
- Abolish prisons.
- Government or public ownership of most large corporations.

Apparently, the DSA that will be the opponents of sanity in the next presidential election is calling the shots for the Democratic Party That Hates America.

On the other hand, this news is fresh enough that this Romer character could be a troll plant ... given the absurdity.

If you’re not laughing by the end of the article, you don’t appreciate the beauty of spotlighting inevitability.

And instead of a viable alternative to the Democrats, all the Republicans have given us is worst-case scenario, Trump. Both parties are worthless.

Worthless to who? Not the capitalist class. You must mean the remaining three quarters of the world. If so, absolutely. But not only worthless. A great burden, as well. An ACTIVE everyday burden. Not just a bad idea that you can look away from.
