Remember, he was claiming to merely be the Son of GOD.
He wasn't claiming even that. His followers did, centuries later.
There simply is no reliable evidence of any of that.
godelian wrote:Christ was not the son of God for the same reason as Roman emperor Augustus was not. Why would be the one historical figure be the son of God and not the other one? All such claims are obviously complete bullshit.
What a ridiculous irrational statement.
godelian wrote:Christ never died at the cross. Of course, he came back three days later.
Of course you HAVE to believe that as a Muzzle Em. MorHamMad had to portray and discount what he learned of Christ to pretty much a status of a twat prophet, other_wise he could never make his liar claims of being a final word of "GOD" stick!! How could this "prophet", profit and form his own religion if Christ's life and miracles were reported accurately to Biblical accounts, within his Quran?

So, why isn't the emperor of Japan not the son of God? He always said that he was. A lot of Japanese believe that he is. What's the difference with your claim? On what grounds should we believe that a particular man is God or the son of God or some other fake divinity?

The entire lineage claim to be descendants of some "god" apparently - lots of that crap through time, no proof via miracles.
godelian wrote:What's the difference with your claim?
It's Christ's claim, proven to many around, including moi and my own witness, via 'miracles'.

Hey! I'm the final prophet - the Life of Brian I am!! Everything Morhammad stated was lies.
Now all bow down to me!!
Think about it godelian when you bow down to the raised literal arsehole in front of you, doing the same to the arsehole in front of him......that Muzzle Ems believe GOD requires worship is so sad (*WOR_SHIP-->>He can ROW his SHIP just fine without such egotistical nonsense). That they believe that an ALMIGHTY GOD requires them to kill non believers and apostates, so sad, pathetic beyond comprehension.

A miracle is not enough. For a man to be God, he must prove that he created the universe. How did he prove that?

You do not need to prove that you created the universe to claim that you are transmitting a message from God. You just need to give us the message. From there, it is up to us to figure out if we believe or not that the message came from God. The burden of evidence for prophethood is much, much lower than the one for divinity.
A man who claims that he has created the universe is simply a liar.
Anybody who claims that a man has created the universe is also a liar.

When you witness GOD morphing REAL-IT-Y you come to understand the omnipotence of this entity. (*from personal experience now 28yrs in)

Has GOD ever proven IT created the universe? How could GOD ever prove IT created the universe?

So Y do you believe ANY message from MorHamMAD written in the Quran, indeed, Y do you believe the ENTIRE Quran is "the message" from GOD?
godelian wrote:The burden of evidence for prophethood is much, much lower than the one for divinity.
Indeed, in MorHamMad's case it is negligible, there is NO evidence, just contradictions upon that which MorHamMAD based it all upon.

You seem obsessed with a requirement of GOD to
must have been a creator of the universe. Personally, I'm NOT convinced GOD created the universe. I AM convinced GOD created a reality that wo/man can exist within, and here we are.
With regards to the red bit...CHRIST never claimed that HE created the universe from His form as a man. If GOD did create a universe, this one, sure OK...but GOD eventually formed into MAN=CHRIST

I use the definition in Genesis 1:1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

It's a big leap from creating REALITY - that which wo/man can observe (the heavens and the Earth) to creating the entire universe.
So what else does a Muzzle Em believe from Judaic text? Did GOD
use words and speak the heavens and the Earth into existence?

Well considering that what you human beings observe is the real Universe, there is then no leap, at all, from creating 'the Reality' of the Universe.

Imagine going into 'a forum' to 'try to' just argue only for what you believe is true, and/or only for what you are not convinced is true.

Well that's wonderful.

My good Muzzle Em friend, perhaps you could actually answer my quest_ion:
So what else does a Muzzle Em believe from Judaic text? Did GOD
use words and speak the heavens and the Earth into existence? ..thus to add, does that "sound truthful"?

"There simply is no reliable evidence of any of that"
... says the guy who just posted a whole page of miracles alleged to have happened thousands of years ago. Where are this man's intellectual scruples? His honesty? His rigor?
I'll tell you. At the bottom of a bloody bottle of Fosters!

Yes, I have to admit I was wondering whether anyone was going to point that little discrepancy out!
However.
"To know GOD is through me" <--- Christ stated something like that..
..and my GOD, DO I KNOW GOD, OUI!!
Thus, all the "miracles" I have witnessed since 1997 leave me in no DO_U_BT of the miracles purported of CHRIST.

If a man says that he is God, how will he prove to us that he is the one who created the universe? Do you really expect us to believe his word salads just because you do? Christians always seem to forget that not everybody is as gullible as they are.
