many have said
not reach deathbed
regrets unshed

none worry me
as lack of thee:
wished never be

-

The older I get,
the more I appreciate life.
In the pain of youth,
my eyes were clouded to a lot.

When you meet the next generation,
it shows how darkness can birth light -
and it becomes easier to accept the path entirely.

Who are these think positive folks you speak of?
If you have to ask, then you're either being disingenuous or else you haven't been exposed to many contemporary mental health practitioners. Either way, it doesn't matter.

Nothing matters. The universe will end and everything will be gone.

Life is wonderful unless it isn't. It can vary from person to person, and it can vary from moment to moment.

None actually. Never met one, insofar as I know. Have met a few Pollyanna-types, though. Relentlessly optimistic and thoroughly insane. They ought to have warning labels: exposure may cause diabetes. Far too sweet for my tastes.
Either way, it doesn't matter.
Mebbe not. Not everything does.

You succeed in reducing,
when cursing the heavens -
yourself.

-

I think of N.'s affirmation.
If we are to live this life again,
why not live it well?
And if once, the same.

James said, [and I paraphrase]
to appreciate that which is within one's grasp -
that which one has access to.
To focus on what you have, than what you don't.

And if life is all we have,
and we'll never attain otherwise,
then wisdom is aligning with this -
not thrashing to what you know is futile.

Your mother had good taste, atto.

As Schopenhauer stated: "Life is something which should never have been." The harsh reality of hunger and suffering through the harsh reality of life lives upon life are the most horrific realizations one can entertain. Ever-bringing fresh innocence into the world is an involuntary act, fulfilling the will of a mindless process. Just a little something to brighten your day--- lol!!

But the reality of 'Life', Itself, is there is no actual hunger, (except on the very rarest of occasions), and no actual suffering at all, except of course the adult human beings causes of hunger and of suffering.

Wonderfuk. I love John Cleese. Terry Jones was always my favourite Python, when he had his pants down. He was horribly bullied by John Cleese, apparently because Cleese saw his enormous appendage and was extremely jealous.

PS: Serves you right for deleting your post..I still had the post on my TV haha

True. I was born with a micropenis and despite my grandpa's constant sucking it stayed tiny.
I don't want to hear that.
