Taylor Swift’s material is multifaceted and contains elements often overlooked. In addition to details previously discussed are subtle philosophical themes.

Ms. Swift’s 2023 music video “Lavender Haze” follows the sequence of symbolism found in Leonardo’s Last Supper painting from left to right.

The video begins with Swift lying down in the dark. Fire appears as on the left side of the Last Supper painting (down, dark, fire).

About halfway through the video, the middle of the video, she is crawling on the floor which is halfway between lying down and standing up.

At the end of the video she is in a cloud up in the sky. Notice the giant fish swimming around signifying water as on the right side of Leonardo’s painting (up, light, water).

The sequence and imagery correspond with the artwork symbolism revealed at the links above.

It could be interpreted as signifying growth or progression; as leaving darkness behind and ascending to the light.

Swift’s work concerns both negative and positive connotations reflecting the concept illustrated in Leonardo’s art and existence itself. Hence the recent association of Swift with philosophy:

I'm still in awe at how someone could be moved to do anything more than change the channel when Swift comes on. Then i meet a guy who's erected a Taylor Swift shrine in his living room. Wtf am i supposed to do, Danny?
