Is introducing yourself on 'Introduce Yourself' the kiss of death? Is it the forum equivalent of the 'black spot' in Treasure Island?

Or perhaps Bahman is the 'black spot'. He always seems to be the first to say 'hi' to the hapless, doomed philosophers. Hmmm...
