I have nothing against Boonyists.
Personally, I am a bona fide boonyist of boonyism.
Wot could ne 1 have against a Boonyist?
It's the creators perfection of religion.

It's wonderful when someone as talented as RG points out the silliness out there.
Is 'it' as wonderful when ANY one points out the silliness in 'your' thinking "iwannaplato".
See, the so-called 'silliness out there' might ACTUALLY NOT BE AS 'silly' as some of the 'silliness in there', in 'you'.
Iwannaplato wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2023 9:47 am
Why? Because he manages to be hilarious while doing it. He can also, when engaged in philosophical discussion, mount a solid argument.
But a so-called 'solid argument' might be AS WORTHLESS AS ALL OTHER 'unsound and/or invalid arguments' ARE.
Would 'you' like to PRESENT ANY so-called 'solid argument' MOUNTED by 'this one'?
If no, then WHY NOT?
Are 'you' AFRAID that what 'you' PERCEIVE TO BE A 'solid argument' might be COUNTERED WAY TOO SIMPLY and EASILY?
Or, is there some OTHER REASON WHY 'you' WILL NOT PRESENT ANY OF what 'you' call 'solid arguments' here?
Iwannaplato wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2023 9:47 am
IOW he is not someone who just spews out bile and is incapable of either mounting an argument or being funny.
To 'you', is there A human being who just spews out bile and IS incapable of either mounting 'an argument' or 'being funny'?
If yes, then WILL 'you' NAME 'that/those person/s'?

I never deny Boonyists a table at my cafe. Good tippers, too.

Cash was of little value in Tasmania for so long, you'd be a drongo to put it above wisdom.

Camals can communicate quite unambiguously.
But not with Camels since they have no language.
And seriously - I'm not sure what Camals would have to say for themselves
camal
MASCULINE NOUN
1. (= cabestro) halter
2. (= palo) pole (from which dead pigs are hung)

Oh, no. I was hoping people would just take is as a misspelling on my part. Now the passive-aggressive meaning number two is out for all to see.

It's awful that he's dead. There's always a sudden death of a big celebrity at this time of year, must be all the Fosters he drinks.

Well, thanks, but somehow I don't think that's what attophi meant. I assumed he meant Gervais, but he doesn't seem to be dead, so I'm confused.
