Exactly. 'Woke' is as racist and condescending as you can get. Woke is obsessed with race. It talks about nothing else.
They’re “obsessed” with race because the bigots are close minded.
Gost. What an intelligent response. Just what one would expect from a wokie.
“It talks about nothing else” is as ignorant as they come.

K: my statement was meant to point out that as ''WOKE" has no
political or actionable point.... it isn't about how taxes are divvied
up or specific housing plans.
. It is a
specific way of viewing racism, sexism, homophobia, etc how pervasive they are., and an, if vague, program for how to prevent/fix these patterns. That's the current use of the term. It used to mean something related but different in the African American community.
I can literally, as I did, cry ''WOKE"
at anything... I did the housework today, and someone will
claim that is ''WOKE" it isn't about my point of view...
but about the opponents of ''WOKISM" point of view...
Both of sides use the term in a vastly more specific way.
but ''WOKISM" as it is defined, is about a state of mind...
an ability to become aware.... I pointed out Kant
who said that the writings of Hume, woke him
up from his ''dogmatic slumbers" that is ''WOKE"..
It's a slang use of a word in a way that Kant would never have used, even whatever slang parallel their might have been in German.
And he wouldn't have referred to himself as woke, even in whatever the German was. Perhaps awake. Awakened.
and literally all that ''WOKE'' is.. it is a state of mind,
a viewpoint.. an understanding about the world...
you read the bible and suddenly it makes the notion of
god front and center in your world views... that is ''WOKE"
You're free to use the word in your idiosyncratic way if you like. And now I at least know how you are using the term. But if you think people who criticize being Woke or those who think one should be woke are using the term your way, then you are confused. And any criticisms of their criticisms of the terms based on your idiosyncratic definition are misplaced.
in history, the blacks were considered to be slaves..
and had no other value... to be ''WOKE" is to
see blacks having value as human beings, not as slaves...
that change in viewpoint is the "'WOKE".. and every
successive action based on that new awareness, that
new understanding is due to becoming ''WOKE" to
the possibilities of existence...
Well, now you are making a claim that being woke is being woke to a specific belief.

Succinct and true. What's the point in writing any more than that? It falls on deaf ears here anyway. I've never seen so many conceited thickos in one place.

Deaf ears can sometimes be the cause of ignorance.

Woke is about making race, class, gender, sex an integral part of every decision and action.
It's institutionalizing the things that we should be getting rid of.

You asked for someone to present some values. I did and you blew it off with a dumbass comment.
I gave you a definition of woke once before. You ignored it.
If I give you another definition, I expect nothing but more BS from you.
All you hear is crickets? You're not listening.

This is what's called shifting the goal posts. You ask for a definition. You get one. You continue to request it, even though you got one. This is pointed out.
The reasonable response is to say,
oh, ok, yes, I see you're right. And then since this was supposed to lead to something - that you would do something when you got a definition - you would do whatever that is.
And by the way, I am not anti-woke, nor am I woke. I certainly respect the original afro-american use of the term. When it was in use there, they certainly needed to be careful when travelling in the US. I can see it as a nice metaphor. I shares some values with current woke crowd, but not others.
Woke and Anti-woke also have some agreement on what is meant by woke. They tend to disagree about degrees, political methods and values.
Even more important there are lots of people who are not in the binary woke/antiwork schema. There are gays who don't like the way LGT issues are taught in schools. There are african americans who are very critical of the way critical theory is being used in schools. There are white people who believe in equal rights for all groups but have a problem with the way language and the teaching of sex is happening in schools now. And there are thousand of other complicated reactions.
Than there are people who want it to be binary, to label the other side as evil or to imply it with great regularity. You fall into this camp.
