my entire thread, the "Foundation of Philosophy"
is a metaphysical thread... it asks, what is the first principle
The first principle is that there are no first principles.
Kropotkin immediately butchered 'first principles' into one "first principle".

Which he then equated with god.

Thus the rest was a total waste of time.

K: actually if you read the post, I listed several possible first principles,
as metaphysical principles...

there is a god,
there is nothing,
there is life,
all is illusion,
the subjective,
the objective,
politics,
dialectal materialism,
truth,
all we need is love...

and as an example, I choose to focus on god as that is
the easiest one to work with and is the best known one...
I could have just as easily said, all is illusion
or truth and gone with that one....it is not a binary choice,
it is an writers choice to explore an example of a first principle...

Some of those are just one word ... subjective, objective, politics, truth. One word is not a first principle.

Others are reducible to some other principles.

Still others are open to question and debate. All is illusion? Dialectical materialism? Since when is that a first principle?

K: one word can be a first principle.. god... justice... love...and as far as
"dialectical materialism" that is the first principle of Marx...
and as far as the first principle goes, entire eastern philosophies
and religions are based on this first principle, that all is illusion..

you seem to be bound by your own thoughts, it can't be because
I don't think of it that way... but perhaps others might think of it
that way...try seeing concepts or thoughts in the shoes of others...

Perhaps you could do that with conservatives. Not mindread them as criticism, but rather 'try seeing concepts or thoughts in the shoes of others' as you say.
