I was "told". By a few hundred independent hospitals across multiple countinents/countries. All observing the same thing.

No you weren't. You were told about the Coronapocalypse by government officials, by way of news outlets.

You walked into it, you silly wanker. Go on then; what do I accept?

No, you did, bub. If you've locked down, if you wear a mask, if you've been jabbed: you've accepted the wolf (Coronapocalypse) you've told about as bein' real. You trust the shepherds. let you in on a little secret: the shepherds are the wolves

(Yikes, I suddenly feel like the guy in the "Jeepers Creepers" movie who foolishly attracted the attention of the murderous demon...

You give yourself too much credit...really, guy, you aren't worth the trouble.

The entirely of the 20th century was spend studying the psychological make-up of the human animal to the degree where institutions have been able to manipulate individuals into just about any type of behavior. This epic manipulation does not bode well for the future.

I'll let you into a little secret: one of my daughters works in an intensive care unit which, for a while, was overwhelmed with people suffering precisely the symptoms associated with the disease you believe is a conspiracy. For you to persuade me of your version of reality, you need to convince me either that the people in the ICU are actors, good enough to fool my daughter, or that my daughter is part of a massive conspiracy and is lying to me. Go for it!

*Back up, bub. Not once have I claimed conspiracy. I think what's bein' done is bein' done quite openly. As for beer virus: I've described it as a nasty cold, not a fiction, but -- to be honest -- I wouldn't swear that it wasn't a fairy tale.

Ask your daughter...

Are beer virus symptoms unique and unmistakable?

...or..

Are beer virus symptoms common enough that it's impossible to know exactly what a patient has without testing him first?

...and...

What exact test is her unit or hospital usin' to determine beer virus positivity?

**No, I don't. All I have to, for as long as I choose to, is keep pointin' out the Emperor has no clothes, and the wolf is dressed in shepherd's clothing. You can listen and begin your own hunt, listen then dismiss, listen then ridicule, or listen and do nuthin' (or stop listenin' and go your merry way).

I got no vaccine to sell, no bureaucratic position to protect, no elected position to further, no book to sell, no legislator's plan to tout.

Me, I see at play the latest iteration (one of several) of the conflict that's been goin' on since before man fell out of the trees: the free man vs the slaver. I aim to stay unleashed. I imagine you do as well. My little memes and posts, that's me sayin' wake up. Up to you whether you do or not. And, if you do, you gotta decide what'll you do.

I'm no leader, shepherd, or salesman.

I think people are rightly sceptical. That's to be commended. The unfortunate thing is that they are allowing their politics to get in the way of their being receptive to answers. They simply cannot bring themselves to be objective and rational. Paranoia is paranoia...

No wonder you are a conspiracy nut - you think you can read minds. As it happens - I don't really read the news. I follow the data flowing from hospitals, counties, states, statistics departments and wherever else I find it. You call yourself a "researcher" - surely you've looked at all the available data?

This data is also corroborated by the experiences of real people (duuh! because that's what data is).

Head of epidemology for Cape Town region - familly friend.
Nurses, doctors and admin staff from 7 different hospitals in South Africa - familly friends.
Nurses, doctors and admin staff from 3 different hospitals in India - familly friends.
Nurses, doctors and admin staff from 4 different hospitals in UK - familly friends.
Nurses, doctors and admin staff from 3 different hospitals in USA - familly friends.

Just because you lack a social network and your only source of information is the news outlets it doesn't mean the rest of us live in a bubble.

This is the paradox of trust. If you distrust "them" and you have brought yourself to believe that "they" are objectiely untrustworthy how can you trust anything "they" say?

Keep stretching/expanding the category of "they" to include every human being on the planet (except yourself) and you arrive at misanthropy.

The thing is there is no seller without a buyer.

The mad insane nut house that is the hominid brain will continue until death do it part with it's own self-created sense of head.

Where is the exact location of the seller and the buyer? ...would it just happen to be inside your head, or is it somewhere else, where would somewhere else be? Do you see the dilemma? who knows what they are talking about?

Clearly there is a meat market for this report.

What you post implies that you think you are being lied to by people who are not open about their motives.

Who cares? What is unique and unmistakable is that patients with respiratory symptoms consistent with a viral infection were turning up in alarming numbers. That has eased considerably since the vaccination programme began, and the number of patients admitted who have been vaccinated is apparently negligible overall and is in fact zero to date on my daughter's ward.

The fact that you consistently call the virus a ''beer'' virus implies you think the virus is all one big joke.

That's your problem, you think seriousness is just one big joke, and most intelligent people don't find your joke amusing.

People are dying nasty deaths from this nasty cold, and good for you if it's not you. But those others could have been you, and that you find it all so amusing is your own sense of irony. What's amusing about drowning in your own bodily fluids, have you ever personally experienced what not being able to breathe, feels like? is it funny?

In the real world, say 20% are conspiracy theorist idiots, 70% are anti-conspiracy theorist idiots, and 10% can think.

So they use the 20% nuts, to convince the other 70% that there are no conspiracies. That's why even though the last 10% can figure out that a few big conspiracies have actually happened, they can't do shit about it.

Couldn't have worded it more perfectly.

Well said.

Some people actually think about things in a more sensible, reasonable, honorable, rational and logical sense, while many are too shallow to even bother. The shallow pool swimmers never go beyond their own narrow minded world views, that they cling to for dear life, for it's all they can be bothered to know.

So 70% + 20% + 10% + they = how many percent?

The worst part about a conspiracy theorists is he can't tell he's a conspiracy theorist. Like this idiot.
