Who are you BSing about Simone? Would you even understand the question for the next AWS colloquy much less be able to answer it? She understood the essential quality necessary for education as opposed to indoctrination. I don't believe you do.

This invites the very important question: who are the decent people and what makes them decent people. Mark Twain wrote:

I find myself often in disagreement with the majority who seem to be considered decent people so I can openly admit why the perennial ideas at the heart of philosophy which attract me can be considered disgusting by decent people.

the question becomes how to respond to the influences of disgusting people who defy the beliefs of decent people? Mankind has tried everything including crucifixion and inviting those who support offensive ideas to drink hempock but nothing seems to work. We still end up with these Simone Weil types who never cease causing trouble for the lives of decent people.

Even though there is a minority very attracted to these disgusting ideas, how do we protect the world from them and the half wits who support them so as not to disturb the tranquility of the decent people?
