You are most welcome to take from me whatever, and as much of, what is worthwhile and good within me as you like. THIS is the act of offering love (caritas), it necessitates the annihilation of the ego,- the total surrender of the subjective "Self" and all of it pride, arrogance, vanity, greed, cupidity and will to power.
"Man would like to be an egoist and cannot. This is the most striking characteristic of his wretchedness and the source of his greatness." Simone Weil....Gravity and Grace
Why would you prefer to destroy the ego rather than heal it? The ego is what connects our inner world with the external world. If the human condition has warped it making it unnatural, why throw the baby out with the bath water? Why not heal the ego so it can serve the purpose it was created for?
But for me, conscious love is about allowing life to unfold unconditionally just as it does in the moment without resorting to reactive's or image worshipping. There is no time machine to go and undo the doing that is this ever unfolding unique life in every new moment.
You are describing a dog's natural love which is fine but animal love arising as an earthly quality cannot be considered to be conscious love arising from above the earthly level. Conscious love requires a quality of consciousness we have only as a human potential. A conscious human being will express conscious love. the trouble is the lack of human consciousness and the dedication to deny it in the world.
Any defintion of a word will always be descriptive. In other words ( an idea) in others words: pure dreamscape.
There is nothing higher than human sentient awareness...going by that observation will inform/show you all you need to know about human potential.
It's all GOD...you simply cannot take the DOG out of the GOD...she is a two way mirror, she works both ways. It could not have been any other way.
In the dream of separation: it seems you can take the DOG out of the GOD - but you can NEVER take the GOD out of the DOG
