Just look at the objective record of their respective histories.

Obama made the most of his limitations for himself and not his country or party (his endorsement was tenuous to success at best), relying on charm and charisma and the prejudices of others, with lots of downsides to that given the situation, downsides which are superfluous to your question.

As a result, the Democrats have nooooobody to oppose Trump.

I don't agree with the Islamism that is coming from Saudi Arabia, i.e. the Wahhabism and Salafism.

In any case, there is some signs of progress from Saudi Arabia, e.g. allowing women to drive and other moves against the old conservative Islamic tradition and hopefully they will go further.

I think the American need to have an enemy to contain the internal contradictions of their nation does do much harm in the world but on the whole it has been beneficial to my nation although with the Trumpette's isolationism I think this coming to an end and as you've pointed out you may well be more concerned with civil matters some time in the near future so I guess new world orders may be on the cards. Add to that that climate change is going to cause some serious movement of people over the next few decades interesting times appear ahead but unfortunately or fortunately I'll probably be dead by then but feel for my kids.
