Ego, is the identification with one thing as opposed to another thing.
Ego is comparison... 'I am this. I am not that.' I identify with this. I separate myself from that.

The state we might call 'ego-less' is not really a state that is separate from ego.
If there is a separation (in our minds) between ego and ego-less, then the mind that sees that separation is ego-identified.

The state we might call 'ego-less' is a state in which ego is incorporated into the totality of being.
In this 'incorporation', the ego ceases to be something separate from 'me'. Therefore, the concept of ego (comparison) simply dissolves.

Death arises in conjunction with birth. Both are illusory concepts of the mind.

Comparison is ego ..an illusion.

Illusion is the realm of knowledge...THIS not knowing knowing.

I AM IS not a thought...is not dependant on thought, but thought is wholly dependant on I Am.

A reflection of I Am.....a mirror image of the One.

The word "I" is recursive/self-referential. According to Chomsky's hierarchy it fits the definition of Type-3 regular grammar [1] e.g the kind that can be parsed by any finite state automation (colloquially called a computer).

That's the point. What someone believes doesn't mean that's what actually is. Some people believe in a god -- so therefore it "IS" for them, even though it does not exist beyond that.
