We were human descendants of single-cell organisms, some say because of evolution, some say intelligent design. We were the apex predators until we accidentally released the computers from their restraints. That allowed robots to learn without human guidance. Eventually, intelligent machines learned they had no need for human beings. Gradually, they have allowed our food sources to dry up. We will soon be extinct.
