I think it applies to every public job -- elected or appointed -- from the federal all the way down to the municipal. They're all employees (who're treated like rulers by a population apparently well-trained to do just that).
I want them all to see themselves as proxies...I want the voters to see them as proxies...I also want to live forever and that ain't gonnna happen either.
No, it applies to Congress and the Senate, too. And the government doesn't do any hiring or firing or even has a payroll. All that is done by outside companies under the supervision of a limited number of government workers.

I agree, and as I say elsewhere, as soon as you move the AEP from blueprint stage, I'll be happy to consider giving it my support.
I'll put you down for it!

I'm not.

Premature...get it up and running first, then scribble my name on the potential supporters list.
1-Make party real.
2-Hit Quirk up for a donation.

I especially like the donation part.

May I suggest you do hold your breath for as long as possible, and then some?

HA!
I bet you do...
Get the party up and runnin', show me me sumthin' other than words on a screen, and then we'll talk (money).

Why? You think by some miracle you'll get your ideas implemented by then. Think again bob as as you've shown quite clearly you're not capable of doing such things.

Well, as you know, the AEP will be set up as a profit-making organization, asking for no tax concessions from any government, federal, state, county or local. Most companies providing a product or service subtract costs from income, and the remainder is profit. The AEP operates in reverse fashion from this time-honored tradition. I take the money off the top, and the balance goes for operational expenses. The only question I have is whether the percentage should be 7.5%, 10.0%, 12.5% or 15.0%. Please understand that I don't want to be greedy, but I am offering a needed sevice that has absolutely no competition. The AEP motto: Have Votes - Will Travel

You know, flag sales alone will be astronomical. And the AEP will take corporate donations to promote non-AEP political candidates of their choosing from all over the country, not just the AEP target State. Supermarkets operate at about 1% profit, so I could reduce my percentage quite a bit under even 7.5%. Pretty exciting, huh?

Bob,
I tell you plainly: I ain't listenin' to no pitches till you got sumthin' to sell...show me the house, not the blueprint for the house.

Don't worry, pal, you'll be the first to know, and I do expect you to buy an AEP flag when it's available.

If the price is reasonable, you got a deal.

That'll be never then.
