I thought it was downhill since Tom Baker.
Tom Baker was the best.

No. 3 was a bit of a down, but Tom brought it to the pinnacle with just the right amount of levity.
After Tom the rest were pretty useless, though Sylvester MacCoy raised the game a little. As for the new set, they've all done a great job, though I can't watch it being too old.

Tom Baker was all right. But the stories, back then, were rather simple and they had no special effects. The cardboard sets in an echoing warehouse just can't play anymore.

I really liked Jon Pertwee from the old ones, but Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant were ace too. I thought Matt Smith was awful. Torchwood was brilliant but short-lived, and much darker.

Torchwood mostly sucked, but Cardiff is a star.

Nah! The Matt Smith doctor was okay.

Can we all agree that Peter Davidson was the worst?

And can we also agree that Peter Capaldi has to be the last Doctor because in the episodes played by Paul MacGann it was revealed that a Timelord can only have 12 lives?

I agree about Peter Davidson.
What a bunch of nerds we are.

Someone once said that the Doctor at the time when you were first introduced to the series, often becomes your favorite. I know that holds for me, as 'Robot' was the first episode I saw, and I have been a fan of Tom Baker in other productions that he was a part of.

I would suggest that the Dr. Who series has a universal appeal, in that when we are young people we believe that we are indestructible, and harbor the fantasy that we should have some kind of super power. When people watch a show like this, most will identify with the hero, rather than the villain.

Hey, I liked Captain Jack!

I'll always be a Tom Baker fan. Really liked the new ones too, but they all had a little Baker flair in them.

I liked Captain Jack in Doctor Who episodes, but that spinoff was both implausible and unlikeable.

Fairly groundbreaking tho' as it addressed quite interesting ideas. Bit like the original Dr Who's.

A bit unfair, as the series was in the doldrums at the time.

We can, although I think they might have to bring back Russell T Davies to solve this one or they could use his daughter. :D

You kill me sometimes.

Why the fuck was it in the doldrums?
Answer: P Davidson.

Chew it over. A good actor transcends shit scripts, and bad sets. All the other doctors managed to do that.

I see England, I see France, I see... Oh, never mind.
