Seeing oneself as the center of the universe is demonic. It is glorified egoism.
I didn't say anything like this. Why are you saying this?

I didn't say anything like this either. So why are you saying this?

Are you not aware that what you focus on and define, you add power to? The more you repeat stuff over and over, the less able you are to see anything else. So all (for you) becomes separated and solidified based on judgments. Your judgments. About what is, and what can be, and what should be, and who is bad. You're not SEEING the universe... you're creating your own illusion of it that you can then claim to know.

I hope you're not advocating rejecting "New Age practices" without giving full consideration to their merits. Simply dismissing something out of hand merely because it lacks plausibility sounds like no more than blind denial, to me.
But you have no problem dismissing the Church of Ouzo, right?

Where is this ONE we are all part of if we are God? Where can it be other than in the center of the universe. Everything revolves around us since the rest is an illusion.

I’m sorry but if a person refuses attempt to consciously experience the diverse totality of the world for what it, then a person justifies it. If one is not consciously experiencing separation from a higher perspective, a higher state of conscious reconciliation, then they are not experiencing what is necessary to become free of imagination which keeps us in this psychological prison denying human conscious potential.

Where? There is no position. How can there be a position when there is nothing to be in relation to?

Why are you sorry? Because you think you are describing me? You seem to keep misunderstanding me, and your ideas don't describe me. Your models and explanations (and language and meanings) are your own trip, Nick. In applying them obsessively (as you do) onto everyone and everything... how can you realize what you're missing? Do you really think you're seeing all there is, and there is nothing that you have yet to realize? Do you really think there is no value or truth beyond the view(s) that you've locked onto?

If I knew what it was I'm sure I would dismiss it.

Don’t include me with this dismissal. If the church wants to celebrate Ouzo, who am I to argue? I’ve had drinks with worse people. I’m known for my tolerance. I'll give it a shot.

Ouzo drinking is an art. Or maybe it's a way of life. Whatever it is, the island of Lesvos is known for it's ouzo. Most cafe owners in Greece will admit that the best ouzo comes from Lesvos, also known as Mytilini, and they probably carry one of the more popular commercial brands like Mini or Plomari. But it's not the ouzo, it's who you drink it with that really makes the experience. When I am in Lesvos I spend a lot of time drinking ouzo, talking and eating with my friends. So much so, that when it is time to return to America I have to seriously consider becoming a member of AA. But usually my desire for ouzo ends when I get on the plane back to America and the two or three bottles I bring back with me every trip begin to add up so there is room for nothing else in my liquor cabinet and then I have to start drinking ouzo again. Its an endless cycle that I don't recommend for amatuers, but with a little knowlege and self-restraint you too can become a connoisseur of ouzo, as odd as that may seem.

That is the point. If all that is real is god and you are god, all that is real must revolve around you making you the center. I cannot see how you can argue this.

Of course there is. But at the same time it doesn't make any sense that this great universe in which I'm only a speck is a figment of my imagination. The universe makes sense to me and part of this sense is appreciating the connection between no-thing, every-thing, and nothing as a scale of energies. it seems far more sensible to me than the belief that I've imagined the reality and value of both unity and diversity and I am really God.

Can the macrocosm and the microcosm simultaneously exist or does the macrocosm invent the microcosm? If they can, then there is a real diversity within unity

Known causes of burning ears are Ouzo, gossip, and God-talk. "Make it stop" with Ouzo usually follows a ground hugging-ritual to slow down the earth's rotation.

If all is one, what makes you think there is a center? I see no center. There is nothing revolving around anything else. It's all the same thing.

It’s obvious. As an eagle flies farther from earth’s center than man, Ouzo soars man further from the center. In time, Ego facing Ouzo is forced to hug the earth, to balance the heights that the body cannot sustain.

Works with Raki and Pastis as well.

That's not ONE. You're imagining multiple things... and time and space. What's obvious is that you don't know what "one" means, and you ignore all to superimpose your bizarro imaginings.

I'm putting you back on my ignore list.

Well hee haw. This list that you say. This list is known by the three munnkees. This list is the Triumvirate-of-No. This list closes off the outer world. It closes the sensory gates. With nowhere else to go attention turns inward to discover what is not there. Both the world and the truth are within the gates, to be recognized when the senses again open outward. Inward lies truth. Thoughts formed by situation follow truth found within that is unseparated from the outer.

Judging by the effect here, this Ouzo stuff is pretty good. When I want to fly around Saturn, I'll stick with tried and true good scotch.

Frequencies that subsume either or other trajectories are receiver accessible.
