Historical Materialism
HA! Voodoo.
not sure...accurate about humans
Max was talkin' about a certain kind of human (or mebbe just 'one').
Don't give a flip what Fred was about.
women's hysterics...based upon...being beaten, abused and raped within and without the family
Shush...don't give them broads any more license than they already got.

knowledge claim
HA! The formality of it, the umph of it...

...I'd rather you just tell me to fuck myself than for me to have to deal with your 'knowledge claim' malarkey.

Pshaw! I was nice...only told him to get bent...coulda said 'go fuck yourself'.
OK Mr Nice Guy - play on ?
I think he has confirmed my analysis of his knowledge claim.
Perhaps he is playing hard to get? Or his learning was so long ago that he's forgotten?
BTW, did you catch Bettany?

Nose Candy Siggy: another son of a bitch who directed (directs) a whole whack of folks to the abatoir...him and L. Ron share a cell in Hell's basement.
He wasn't responsible for human nature. His ideas were new and radical at the time.

Or mebbe, as I said yesterday, in another thread, I just don't give a flip about posting much any more...not enough time or interest...sure as shit not gonna write in-forum dissertations like some of you folks.

What can actually be expected from someone always toting around a shotgun?

Marx. Communism didn't work, but we still use some of its better ideas in enlightened societies today.

OK, understood. You just wanna shout a little, then leave. That's a shame. To be clear, a dissertation is the last thing on my mind.

Communism's better ideas
Not a trick question, not a lead-in to insult: which ideas?

Marj,
You and me got way differing notions about what constitutes a 'shout'.

Not important. I wanted to hear more about the man, Marx. And how his idea came to be a game-changer. Guess I'll revisit the programme and listen with more than half an ear.
Your 'HA! Voodoo' wasn't exactly a whisper...or informative.

Can us Americans watch this somehow? If so, how, please? Thank you!
