I suspect that if there were no differentiation, reality would look very different to what we actually perceive. Have you read Parmenides on this subject?

What I think is more reasonable to critisize however is whether time is a dimension as Einstein believed about general relativity. While his field equations make the correct predictions, I think that believing that time is the same as space is stupid.
