We know that we are; but we don't know what that is.

If we knew what that is, it would be like going to watch a movie for the second time, you would know what's going to happen; and that is impossible to know what is going to happen next.

What does it mean that I can watch a movie for the second time, and not know what is going to happen next.

I'm speaking in a metaphorical sense, but use literal meanings as so to make sense.

The universe is building itself as it goes along in a linear fashion. Every moment of now is a blank slate of pure potential. The mind fills in the blank and immediately becomes a recorded memory. The entity lives from memory. It cannot know what is going to happen next because there is only ever the blankness of now; so the idea of next hasn't been thought of or created yet. As soon as the blackness is filled by thought, that too becomes a memory. No one lives in the blank space of reality.

The eternal now is the all knowing seeing eye of reality but cannot look at itself directly. The only way it can look at itself is from the past or future which cannot co-exist here in the immediate now. The past and future being dead; now being the only place where aliveness seems to be, yet not even the now can be known, since the now is being wiped out by the past, and the future is being wiped out by the now which is being wiped out by the past.

And I'm using levity.

Levity's good, another way to communicate that which cannot be communicated using words....or every word communicates it.

Silence sounding is tipping the balance from cause to effect.

Neutrons are neutral; a neutron cannot be "0" because then it would be nothing, but if it was nothing, then it would not exist.
So it IS something. And according to the laws of physics, that means it has an opposite.

A neutron is not nothing. You are talking meaningless words.

There is no such thing as no thing, because the very notion of no thing makes it a thing. Reality is therefore neutral... not this, not that, both, yet neither. Neutral is the opposite of itself. 2 neutrals added together = a positive and a negative added together.

Zero has an opposite... the opposite of +0 is -0

+ or - zero has applications in computer programming that serve a function of variables that would not work with just plain zero.

What went wrong?
The quest won't be over until the end of our time, or until we can create a universe.

How about we start now ?

for example in form of Selfdesign.
(you will find some respective ideas in "Another view of consciousness" chapter 5 - or in my "call to arms" in wordpress)

Humans like to say they've found an answer, as it serves their self image and quells their fears. Of course this has no necessary bearing on the actual truth of things. The truth is that with any question that's actually larger than us, there shall be continuing decisions and revisions, until such time that the query is no longer bigger than us. As we approach the same size as the query, we can finally see a glimmer of truth on the horizon. The larger our relative size, beyond that which we question, the clearer the true of the matter becomes, until it is dwarfed by our accumulated knowledge, it then becomes clear, we finally 'know' the answer.

Don`t ask questions if you don“t know the answer.

Nothing went wrong! The question is, "why do you believe the quest is completed such that it could be considered in vain and that it went wrong?"

The quest itself seems to be the problem - Buddhists, Zen and Taoist thinkers claim that the answers are given, or Selfknowledge manifests, when abandoning the quest (questions)
