But you do, my friend. Messiahs are ten a penny in the modern era and you're up against some stiff competition. If you don't have an original angle you'll never get a toehold in a rapidly shrinking market, so you're going to need all the help you can get. It's all a bit old hat nowadays but perhaps you could start by reading Dale Carnegie's "How to win friends and influence people". Your particular line of bullshit has been tried so many times before that you've really got no choice but to get yourself a fully professional publicist. A miracle or two wouldn't go astray either.

Elmer Ganter by Sinclair Lewis. Good book, great movie. Even won awards. Entertaining, and it tells the essence of the Hope Seller family.
