For myself, I accept this strange experience of awareness. To me, everything else beyond that becomes, as you say, assumption, except for the negative or positive feelings one derives from this strange awareness. And as I am aware of unpleasantness, I choose not to pass consciousness on as it cannot be avoided. Hence antinatalism. There are no assumptions on my part here, because there are no steps in between my consciousness and that of determining what I think of it. Hence no possibility of making a mistake in reasoning.
