Yes, I think it has many of the basic features of modern art.
Fairly modern, I produced it quite recently.
Please not the implication of man's inhumanity to man,
More the implication of man's inhumanity towards his own body.
the arbitrariness of the relationship between the signified and the signifier.
I was thinking more of the arbitrariness of what overweight people are prepared to shove into their mouths.

From my Fat Boy series. This one is called Fat Boy eating chocolate. It's not meant to be any particular fat boy, it's representative of all fat boys, particularly the ones who eat a lot of chocolate.
Had it been signed by Picasso you could have purchased the internet.

If you want to make me an offer for the original you'll find me very reasonable about the price.

I thought it reminded me of Tracy Emin.

...soon to be approached by EIGHT tentacles compared to the ONE you usually get on land. I'd call that overly ambitious.

Beautiful. Thanks for enhancing my day - the purpose of art and the artist.
Thanks Tom...I hope all is well. Is Santa bringing you a puppy for Christmas?

Quite a different direction to what I've seen for gallery shows. Very nice!
Thanks Cecil!

I sold 2 of the new style last night at a larger gallery downtown! It was my first sales for the new work and I was overjoyed cause you never know what people are going to like in the art world. I am feeling so grateful right now...they are much larger piecse than I normally do and I was worried where I was going to store them if they didn't sell...lol.
Not to mention, I was sweating the money situation yesterday....so much so, that I was late to my opening reception because I had to drive across town to pick up a deposit on a a huge faux finish job that I have been trying to land for years....yes, you heard me...for years. She finally said yes, and that the only time she had to meet to discuss the job and give me the deposit was friday at 4;30 ( my reception was supposed to start at 5...of course...lol) So I go over there, and the gaurd at the gate says, "I'm sorry, she not picking up. I can't let you in."
really?
Okay God, How long are you going to dangle this carrot? Seriously, it has been years of me going, omg....I am going to get that big check and finally be able to breathe easy...and then...BAM....it's gone...and I'm all sad faced...and then a little nibble....but then...poof...it's gone.
So now she said Monday....Ha! Yeah right...I'm not falling for it again! Dangle this fuckers! LOL (that was my little rant)
