I printed out your Ouzo Prophecy and lined the litterbox with it.

Somebody posted this on another forum and received quite a lot of personal hostility. You're lucky to get it only from your same old adversary. Page three before anyone discussed the actual article. Needless to say, that got a lot of hostility as well. Of course, it's a magazine headline: intended to attract attention.

Obviously, civics ought to be emphasized a lot more in public schools. Obviously, the system of government is more complicated than it needs to be and the public information media are piss-poor.
Personally, being of an age where, if I'm introduced to someone new, another name drops out of my head, and I can only hope it's that of a dead actor, not my dentist, I can't blame people for failing to memorize the names of officials who are mentioned only rarely on the news, and who change every few years - though they ought to know the speaker and the VP, especially if they have served for a term or more.

If you're talking about that stupid link to Newsweek's so-called citizenship test, there was no article to read since that idiot used up his free articles. All you could see was that 38% of somebody didn't know something. Who gives a shit? Newsweek needs to come up with stories since it covered the news so poorly it had to stop publishing its magazine due to poor circulation.
