The 3 parent "frankenstein' as put out by the press is nothing of the kind. You might want to read and try to understand with more care next time.
U'r right actually, but I couldn't remember the correct word for it, so I cut corners.

And where is the relevant research that shows we have any idea which gene sequences relate to intelligence?

No wonder Blaggard went postal, given the people on here lol! Any forum where people welcome newcomers with "yum, fresh meat" is massively dysfunctional.

You're missing the point.
The point is that there is no such thing as a three parent child.
As I understand it, the
mitochondria of one person is being used to hold the DNA of the actual parents. Not germ DNA material is being provided by the "Third Parent".
Mitochondria are intercellular life forms that pass to the child from the Mother. At no time in history have mitochondria contributed to the genome of any living thing that it lives within.
This method treats a disease based on faulty mitochondria, it is completely irrelevant to the issue of 'designer babies'.

Moron.
Linking two articles that agree with me, not you, does not work. You have to find stuff that disagrees with me.
What you really need to do, is learn to read, and more importantly try to understand what you are trying to read. Then you might not make such an arse of yourself all the time.

You're on a philosophy forum, try backing-up your assertions. Be relevant.

You are right per se, but problem is that you too often demands silly irrelevant information which ruins the moments when you ask relevant questions.
