That is good prejudice
There is a name for this commission of an Ethical fallacy. It is called: Racism.
We see a good display of it here.
Melchior suggests we get rid of large cities. This may be a good idea. Replace them with well-planned villages. The question remains: WHERE ARE THE JOBS??
Putting people to work installing solar panels, or other forms of clean, renewable energy; or building high-speed rail systems; or repairing crumbling infrastructure would provide plenty of jobs. That would take intelligent leadership on the part of legislators and other government officials. That would take electing Bernie Sanders or someone with the same values as he. ...proposing to implement policies which enhance the quality of human life.
I agree with those who advocate re-training programs for police throughout the United States. It's about time the police learned to treat EVERYONE with respect, not because of who they are dealing with, but because of who they, he or she - the police-person is. Someone may act criminally toward you but that does not mean you should lose your dignity. Love -- and Ethics --drives out fear. Ethics is a perspective, a way of looking at the world. When you, a cop, care enough, you will make nonviolent arrests. Ethics is about caring, about creating value, about harmonious cooperation. Caring is basic.
We need more Community Policing, more 'Officer Frendlies.'
