We humans like to define things, and we need people to enforce the rules, else we end up with people making up their own rules and twist words out of shape.
If we study simple things like language it has changed vastly over just decades, UFO used to mean an Unindentifyed Flying Object, not it means an alien space ship.
It's no different with philosophy, simple minded people doesn't comprehend the deeper meaning with it, and will only come here to cozy chat.

You know, philosophy means "love of wisdom", I cam here looking for wisdom, but there's none to be found, therefore what I've learned isn't what I've been looking for, very simple.

When people are ignorant of a thing they often resort to a bland literal or etymological meaning. Sometimes that can be helpful to them. (ahem!).

I think you should check ScienceChatForum / PhilosophyChatForum (both names refer to same site). It has more philosophical and scientific content than all these cozy chat forums together.

Finally up and posting both on here and on PhilosophyForums... an indication of a turning point perhaps.
