No matter which side of this thread you adhere to, I appreciate ALL of the robust arguments upon this extremely important philosophical topic.
Allow me to clarify what one active member requested in the original post - Philosophically, I have reached a point in my life where I will be proud to vote for a female for the Presidency of these United States.
Don't care if she is independent or from one of the two major parties or from a splinter party.
Whoever is the first to nominate a woman for the Presidency, that is where I will align myself with. Beyond and regardless of party affiliation.
Barack Obama will go down as the most significant and important President in the history of America.
I am proud to have supported Barack Obama and to have been alive during this transitional time in American history.

It's time for women to be in a white house or any other color, spending a disproportionate amount of their time in the kitchen baking pies, cakes and other delicacies.

In America politicians make, vote, and judge policy.
Individual Americans have been marginalized to the point that we are only factored to be emotionally herded by those who have the deepest pockets and media ownership. It's just a game.

Yes, and as I said...unless a woman is the Presidential nominee for ANY of the parties, I for the first time in my adult life will NOT vote in the presidential elections.
I've seen too much. It's all a game of currency. Nothing matters except that.

Promise? That would be enough to induce me to campaign against any woman who decides to run for that office. Anything to raise the general level of intelligence of the voting public, especially by eliminating those at the bottom of the intellectual spectrum.
