There is of course matter and anti matter but they do not cancel out perfectly
Or else there would be no matter and no matter would then mean no Universe
does the duality inherent in our electricity, the positive and negative, work in harmony to produce that which we use worldwide every day, 24/7/365 ? If those two polar opposites were to "cancel each other out and leave the neutral", there would be no energy as we use it.

Don't know if you are directing this post to me?

In your case above, the electricity produced as a result of the interactions of the two opposites would be the result; neutral aspect.

For this thread try not to think of neutral as nothing. Neutral is a metaphor as a force or manifestation.

I realize it is difficult, initially, to think in this way.

No worries.

Not necessarily, but I'll accept it, Bill

The point I was attempting to show was simply everything exists due to duality. 'Neutral' has it's opposite, (for the very reason the word exists), which may be any of several definitions (see antonym of 'neutral') depending upon it's usage.

Force or manifestation occurs from a counter action/reaction which indicates the dualities at play.

As this thread so clearly shows is based upon two "forces", e.g agreement and disagreement, for which debate exists as does the majority of communications.

*PhilosophyProTip: You've just contradicted what you said, i.e. if they are symbolic forces then they are not manifest and if they are interchangeable then your definitions of positive, negative and neutral are meaningless in application. Thank you for once again demonstrating the gnu in action.

I think you should look closer at what you just stated.

A thing can be manifest and yet symbolic.

I don't think there is a contradiction there.

Think of it as forces. Manifest forces.

If you were weight lifting, the force you exert is the positive, the weight is the resistance or rather the negative force and the effect the lifting has upon the related muscles is the neutral manifestation.

What you refer to as "the neutral manifestation" as a goal with the weight lifting is to attain an opposite effect from the one prior to this exercise, hence a change from "neutral manifestation" to an "engaged manifestation" is duality at play. It is an impossibility to not find (ignore) the "force" of yin/yang within every action not only we hu'mans participate in, but every action life.

All of this can be explained in terms of Class 1, 2 or 3 levers.

So what are they symbolic of?

If they are interchangeable what point the distinctions? Other than making you sound gnulike.

As in; Affirming, Denying, Reconciling

Life progresses, time progresses, as a dance between these three forces.

You may only be able to perceive two forces at work. That's Okay. That is your being. That is your filter of the world.

No one, not even you can change your filter.

Unlike you I'm not trying to be a gnu and prefer Philosophy, so I leave what forces there are in the universe to Physics and have no need to make-up such a metaphysic to have a meaning in my life as I'm not an ex-theist in search of a replacement purpose. If I was to muck about with such stuff as trinities applied to ones life then I'd be spoilt for choice in Philosophy but would plump for Hegel as he liked thought and reason despite being an absolute idealist.
No one, not even you can change your filter.[/size].
Unlike you and thanks to NLP I actually know what my filters are and how to work with them. I also have Philosophy to put them in context.

You sound happy...or at least content.

I'm not here to change you, or for that matter, anyone else here at the forum.

I see, philosophically, a trinity in everything.

If you are set in duality I'm fine with that.

Interesting that you use "philosophically" a trinity in everything, but exclude "philosophically" and switch "see" to "set" in duality.

Personally, I can't agree with your statement as you wrote it, however I do agree with my changes.

Now, Bill, we can both be "fine with that", eh? :)
