Speaking as a former 16 year old, sex for a male is NOTHING BUT SELFISH.


That doesn't mean that, for a male, attitudes towards sex ever change.



In the context of this philosophy forum I'm stating that since we really don't know what we are doing here on this earth, and since half of us go to be hungry EVERY night, there are some pretty horrific ways of dying, nothing is certain and we fuck-up or kill just about every other animal we cross...I'm figuring, as a philosopher, eight billion of us is about enough.



Jesus didn't have any children, neither did Socrates. Sir Issac Newton and Nikola Tesla died virgins...Just sayin...

Bill, your problem is, you try to generalize and speak for everyone. If you said that sex is selfish for you, that your view on sex hasn't changed since youth, that you don't know why we're here, that you go hungry and kill animals, that is one thing.

I pretty much don't fit any of those generalizations, except I do like fishing. Although I throw them all back, some do die - and I eat chicken. Beyond that, I don't kill any animals.

Our existence is based upon each one of us killing animals, occasionally eating them, selfishly using fossil fuels and the worlds resources AND having SELFISH sexual thoughts and then acting upon those juvenile inspirations.

That wasn't what you said. You said that for men, sex is 'nothing but selfish.' Not that it was sometimes selfish or partly selfish. Big difference.
