And it's true, as far as we can tell, that food additives are one of the main reasons for a lot of health issues. The best way for anyone to eat in the USA is organic, non-GMO, whole foods, that one can then add together to make their favorite dish's. Any processed food, should be avoided at all costs, which of course includes fast food. Then of course there's big pharma, and doctors that reap the rewards of both these food additives and allopathy as taught in today's medical schools. It's quite apparent to me that whatever keeps the money flowing, the economy balanced, is good, no matter what the side effects, as in how many are slowly sickened and killed as a result. Also from what I've gathered, many European countries seem to be better at taking care of the peoples health concerns than the US of A. Don't even get me started on Monsanto, and their want to patent one generation seeds, those that do not create viable seeds for future generations, the sick twisted bastards that they are!!!!! Yes man is often an ugly greedy creature, that can't see the life for the self.
It oft times sickens me how no one is doing anything really about it. I even get mad at myself for not doing enough, and I sometimes have got laughed at for calling out the teachers in class for promoting such staunch BS. Despite that, I always have a better outlook on things, and I always remember to keep myself balanced in the face of chaos.

That's what I was trying to hint at earlier, I don't know how old/young you are, or how worked up about all the BS you really are, but in truth I have found, through psychology, that humans are not fully responsible for their shortcomings. They often don't really understand why they do the shit they do, but it's usually fear related, usually locked deep within their subconscious. Sure they'll tell you otherwise, again fear! My point is that one should never go off half cocked, holding one accountable for things, they don't fully understand, as it becomes, just more chaos. Understanding is key, and can be used to help steer the proper course. It's best to work the machine, and not the people. I feel your frustration though. And while I, like you, feel guilty for not being more proactive, I also know that using my words, can bring the truth to those that care to listen. Momentum, motion, is required, and so I shall preach it till the day we change, or I die, which ever comes first.
