Artisticsolution, you may call me whatever you are comfortable with. Thedoc is what some of my friends started calling me many years ago. I would say the title of Doctor is self-inflicted in Microferroequinology. I used to own a hobby shop and was very good at repairing model trains.
In the movie it was my impression that Orr could not control the narure of his dreams untill Haber started directing the course of his dreams. Then Haber started useing this control to his own ends. Orr seemed to be quite happy when things returned to "normal" in the end.
Equality is a tenuous quality, dependent on the will of the masses. And 'the will of the masses' is something that philosophers are least in touch with. We are all equal in that we may struggle with the right to be alive.
