This is an Internet forum where philosophy and philosophical musing goes on. That is by definition different from a confessional faith-exchange forum where — and this would be essential — people reveal some of the most intimate information about the most intimate subjects that are possible to discuss. For this reason, in my view, you tread over frontiers and boundaries that should be maintained. You go way too far in self-revelation — again in my opinion. Myself, I have objective interest in what is going on in our culture and our world. I speak about “spiritual orientation” from a distance. That is my predilection. My own spiritual life is not a topic of my conversation and it will never be. This is an Internet forum and it is not a place for the public sharing of extremely personal content.
It is just as inappropriate for me (or anyone) to comment (meaning apply assessments) to your extremely personal revelations of subjective experience as it is for you to put it out there. This is why I decline to comment.
The things I can talk about have to do with larger, more general cultural and social concerns. That is what I focus on. Those are “appropriate” topics in a philosophical environment.
