Re: Philosophy of Mind
The best example in explain gravity is matter and motion, they are inseparably held together in perfect unity, being-for self, and being for other. These two reciprocally regulated determinations are in unity.
Matter against motion is the struggle for one and the same place. It constitutes a single determinateness of two bodies in union. Two coinciding equally in a single accord similar to time unity of past present and future are one, yet at the same time they are not one.
These two determinations moment connected each constituting one matter and motion pass from one to the other equally and offer resistance to each other. For example, if a cannon ball were thrust with great pressure it would fly off in a tangent if there were no resistance. Only through gravity that bodies resist each other. Resistance is only pressure that each resists each other. Each striving towards its centre presses on the other which resists it. The oscillation is resistance has the power, which bring to rest the thrust the oscillation terminates in a downward direction.
That which is unsupported terminates in a downward decline. This is not mere occurrence everything is reduced to gravity the force of pressure and thrust oscillation ceases the direction of downward falling, deviates from in a way self-resistance the affirmation of ones own force.
Mind is not only lodged in body as a pilot but is very closely united to nature and so to speak interacts with it. And besides, this is dependent on principles vital above all to truth.

The perfect group of independent bodies nesting in an objective essential relationship to each other in perfect unity is the solar system where relationship of one and other form dwelling together in unity.
Gravity the power that brings the pendulum to rest, terminates pendulum oscillation to the direction of falling is both matter and motion inseparablely, held together in perfect singularity as gravity essential moments of, two opposition holds together reciprocal determinations passing from one state to another and only through an outside force
Knowledge is the release from chains or more so from shadows to light, not mere images in the water but the power of elevate mind to philosophy the gentle aid of knowledge this is a given, possessed by every one is offered to everyone, and made plain for all a useful handy helper for greater good and understanding.
Students are too conceited as matters stand today see the profit in knowledge but even now as disregarded still by natural charm emerges into light.
Philosophy does not rest in the multiplicity of opinion but on the keen edge not blunted nor forced to abate until truth is found.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
The ego knows how demean every truth and turn away from it is incapable to know what is truth. Ego is one-sided always seeing the result they never advance. That is the ego mere reflection. The Hindus believe, if the ego were light it would maintained in pure transparency like light pure reflection but ego is mere uncertainty not light, is inner essence that passes hither and thither as the sphere of reflection. Ego merely is an attitude and reflection to itself.
Sunlight is wholly universal appearance devoid of any determination within it. Our ego entangled in the world of appearance is what causes people to never raise mind above appearance they are so accustomed to consider nothing.
The ego flees the universal, and seeks only an isolated on its own account. The self-caring ego is necessary process of assimilation from becoming to being just as plants are drawn out of itself by light; they climb out towards light, ramifying them into many individuals. Plants draws from light energy, vigor, and the quality of scent, the splendor and depth of color and shape.
Here we enter into the sphere of self reflection into self pervades the whole Godly like relation between inner and outer. Much like the crystal nucleus molecules integrants attach themselves to the surface of the nucleus in a kind of successive array in which depends on this series. These nucleus crystals are a three dimensional whole. Ego inner essence is ideal principle that pervades the whole inner and outer like the crystal nucleus molecule integrants the nucleus in a kind of successive array.
Therefore, bare simple pure inner self real inner being is ego, comes forward over against the world is the unflappable truth.

I wish I were alive at the time Socrates roamed. You know he never left Greece. In Phaedra’s you can get the feel of the Greek terrain especially when Socrates invites Phaedra to walk outside the wall and continue their conversation. Eventually they stop in front a tall plane tree there was a gentle breeze there and grass to sit on.
Behold the plain of truth that is where pasturage is found and suited to the highest part of the mind soaring when nourished of knowledge.
In the mind, there is a good and bad and when good has bad under control this is called temperance meaning the agreement of good and bad. They are like the two winged horses in the air; and one of them is good and the other is bad; one gives a great deal of ignorance and meanness falls down while the other, good feeds on beauty, wisdom, goodness feeds upon.
Good is attainable inasmuch as we follow truth; these are pleasures, which are natural to self, if that which is good for self is also most natural. It is in the company of reason and under the guidance of knowledge is truth in the highest degree,
The bad side has desires which are totally unattainable and wants that grow worse become more jealous, more faithless, unjust, friendless, and impious then ever. In the end are so miserable they make everybody around them miserable too. They run away from reason.
The mind the greatest of God’s blessings, things moved from without are mindless; but that which is moved from within has a mind.

I don't know why? As odds are you'd be a slave having to listen to lunatics tell you stuff thats interesting but hardly relevant in this situation as I'm going to agree to anything given the situation?

If I am going to wish to be around when Socrates made his appearance I would wish to be a student of his, I would wish to hear his every debate and learn from him. If you are going to wish wish big.

You need to broaden your horizons. Socrates was a stonemason just like his father before him. He had five children to feed. He did not go around in flowing gown spouting.
That is what I like about Socrates he lived his; life philosophically he even had time to write, we can thank Plato for that.
Confucius lived in poverty with his mother since childhood. With the support and encouragement of his mother, Confucius was very diligent in his studies. When Confucius was seventeen years old, his mother died of illness and overwork.
In order to be slaves you must have a master in order to a master you must have a slave. The master is self but no longer merely the general notion of existence for self but thing hood. It is not an independent, but rather a dependent consciousness you can achieve. Socrates founded independent consciousness was accordingly the bondsman of fear
In the master the bondsman fears being, and attains a consciousness that exists on account of self enfranchisement
Fear remains inward and mute, and consciousness does not become objective for itself.

BB, Thats all nice, but he was a Greek citizen and as such his comfort was built upon the slavery of others. That he was a citizen who proved his worth through arms was his saving grace, that those who did not proved his undoing shows how far we've come.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
What endures through time has value higher than what perishes. Achilles the flower of Greek life, Alexander The Great, that infinitely powerful individual did not survive; only their deeds remain. The same is true of the eternal concept of good and evil they are timeless abstract universalities, such as, time itself, space, the sun, the Elements, stones, mountains even pyramids, etc, etc.
Socrates believed until good bear rule, society and citizens will have no rest from evil, nor will a good society ever be realized?
The idea of good is the highest knowledge. Do you think that the possession of all other things is of any worth if we do not possess good? But, most people affirm pleasure to be the good when it is knowledge; there are bad pleasures as well as good pleasures.
There are so many people are willing to do just and honorable things without certainty; but no one is satisfied with the appearance of good; in the case of the good, they actually despise its appearance.
All mere opinions is bad, and the best of them blind. You would not deny that those who have any true notion without intelligence is only like blind person who feel their way along the road uncertain hesitating because of no assurance, fearing that they shall fall and will bring ridiculed.
There is absolute good it is known but not seen brought under a single idea, called spirit. Then good whom Socrates call the child of the good, whom the begat relates the intellectual world and mind directed towards good shines, clearly in mind

Re: Philosophy of Mind
The universal moments of time is present time, it endures throughout all the moments as the standpoint of time.
Time is change of place precisely the endless meaning that Zeno of Elea shows that no thing moves only changes place, that there are three different places, that which is about to be occupied, that which has just been vacated and throughout all these changes present remains.
All that endures in time, sun, the Elements, mountains, the pyramids etc, etc, have a higher value. If everything stood still even our imagination we would endure but all things are temporal and subject to change. The only standpoint is present time it will not come to be nor was it but it is.
Present time has an incredible right because as soon as I pronounce it dissolves flows away present is because past and future are not. It is universal of all moments is the standpoint that does not go away nor does it rest, and distinct from past and future, therefore it is eternal.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Earth is ground and basis of fertility and vitality. Water and Earth invade air into an atmospheric process, resolving water and earth into volatilize odor.
Air and water enter in two ways, ordinary and double images called refraction. Refraction is when water contracts into a smaller space in air.
For example if I place two coins in separate glasses, one is filled with water and the other is empty. You will see the coin in the glass filled with water is seen in a different place then from the coin placed in the glass empty of water that is refraction.
The coin in the glass of water is seen in a higher place then the coin in the empty glass. The same as people who shoot fish in water know to aim below the spot where they see the fish that is refraction. Water enters into air as if water was air is refraction. Refraction depends on the specific weight of something, which varies from case to case. The central part of something has greater specific weight, the greater weight the greater the refractive power.
An excellent illustration the study of the earth’s atmosphere, the process affirms the unity of elements, air, fire, and water in the form of barometric index level.
Here demonstrates changes are inside the terrestrial earth. That earth attracts the atmosphere either more or less; the higher level of the barometric level puts an end to the forming of water and the lower level permits the form of water. The higher the level is a greater tension of earth inward spirit of being.
Being is produced at the expense of nature, through a process, we are subject to, air, fire, water, earth, and they are the roots of our individuality.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Life is absolute ideal can be grasped only in theory because of all the perpetual actions of earth. Whenever there is an inner and outer, cause and effect, and subjectivity-objectivity there is life bound up with the process of Elements. Earth’s Elements. determine the seasons and time of day, periodic variations, and noticeably all electrical and magnetic fields.
Earth unites all these Elements together like a bouquet bounded together; this is the analog of life, and no member of nature can endure without this vital subjective process. The atmospheric activates arouses and rules earth causes and effects all earth processes. Life is subject of atmospheric process. Earth is inert cannot fructify itself into vitality but by the atmosphere. Perpetually life erupts at every point in earth. The atmosphere is perpetually ignited and incited by the sun; the earth absorbs energy from the sun and radiates this energy into a constant temperature.
Goethe found the atmospheric process affirms the unity of elements, air, fire, and water in the form of barometric index level. For example, trade winds are constant east winds in the tropics, winds from Europe blow from the northeast, the nearer one gets to the equator the more winds blow from the east. The more distance from the equator, the winds take on a southerly direction until they are southeast. In India, the atmosphere usually stands at the same level.
The atmosphere level is simultaneous from the same latitude on different meridians in Europe, America, and Asia found that the variation of barometric level simultaneous: for example there are no thunderstorms were found by Perry in the polar regions, but almost every night he saw the northern lights in all directions.

Re: Philosophy of Mind
Greece was working its way out of insensitiveness Thales and Pythagoras arrived on the scene with such profound knowledge there was nothing remote they could not reason. The heaven and all creations would collapse and stand still and never again move without knowledge. Not rhetoric even of the best poet’s embellishment but science.
Only in modern times has philosophy been separated from the sciences. For example, Aristotle physics is far more philosophical then physics. Philosophy is of a nature somewhat more divine than any other sciences. There is a perfection philosophy ought to reach, and which all students ought to attain and not to fall short of. When inter-communion with other is a mutual affinity not till then will philosophy have value.
Therefore, press forward lay aside what only for self and grasp love of knowledge. From the mind is derived knowledge that perhaps maybe we acquired it before we were born. No matter what we are born having knowledge. For I am not speaking of knowledge only but of beauty, goodness, justice, holiness, and all which we stamp with the name of mind Knowledge is attained with the mind alone in the company of reason.

M,
Goethe found this to be. He was a great poet and really should have been acknowledged in science. I am not a poet, vainness flees my mind to bring about the realization of reason. I borrow all that is best in knowledge that enumerate anything, which gives to the idea that all things, which fall under truth.
Knowledge it’s specific character of subject matter is a working out the reason of nature instead of laying hold in hand. This approach is partly practical and partly theoretical, intending to further constructive and deductive scientific studies. Science is directed to the first principle of immediate existence starts its discovery purely by the power of reason define rationally the ideal universe.
